Las Fallas is a festival to celebrate the coming of spring. It is a festival to wish a jubilant bon viaje to winter — and how better to farewell winter than by building giant effigies and burning them to the ground, setting off fireworks (like everyone doing them everywhere) and, of course, drinking sangria and dancing in the street
Where: Valencia, Communidad de Valencia, Spain, Europe, Earth.
When: 19th of March.
How: Two way private lovely coach transfers from Barcelona.
What: Day trips
Cost: 50€ for the Saturday night fireworks or the Tuesday night burning trip from Barcelona.
Inclusions: guides, return transport from Barcelona, BBQ on the Saturday trip and loads of Sangria! Saturday departs 12pm and leaves Valencia 3am to arrive back around 8am hopefully. Tuesday trip departs Barca at 5pm and leaves Valencia at 4am to get back by 9am at the latest.
