Deep Sea Fishing

Grab your sun cream and camera and jump aboard a sleek fishing boat for an exciting day of deep-sea fishing. Sit back as you swoosh far over the Atlantic to the fishing grounds. Experience the thrill of fishing with the White Strike or the Dorado off Gran Canaria. Choose from trolling for blue and white marlin, tuna, wahoo, spear fish, mahi mahi and skipjack tuna and bottom fishing for amberjack, rays, sharks, conger eels, hake and many more edible fish. Kids are welcome too and if you just want to sit back and watch the action that’s fine as well.

This fishing adventure with a morning pick up from one of the designated points in Gran Canaria (Playa del Ingles guests). Accompanied by an English or German speaking guide, your coach will then transport you down to the harbour of Puerto Rico. For Mogan and Puerto Rico guests, please make your way directly to Puerto Scala (right-side of Puerto Rico harbour). Once you have boarded the The White Strike or El Dorado you will start set off for the fishing grounds.

Choose between deep-sea (100m-350m deep) or surface fishing. The experienced crew members will guide you through all the fishing equipment and tackle leaving you to enjoy it yourself. We only use top brand US tackle. At the end of a splendid fishing excursion you will dock back into the harbour, where you can board the bus back to the point of departure.

Meeting point: Puerto Base for El Dorado and Puerto Scala for Whitestrike boat.
