«Castellera» is a human tower built traditionally in festivals at many locations within Catalonia. At these festivals, several colles castelleres or teams often succeed in building and dismantling a tower's structure.

This day is known as «castellera».
We’ll explain how it is organized and structured a castle, which is made up, what role does each of the people who join groups play (children, adolescents, higher or slender people ..). How to count the floors, which musical instruments are used, when the music starts playing, what happens when a the tower goes down… We'll explain all the details and facts about the history of the human towers.
The events are performed usually on weekends (Saturday and / or Sunday).
Every weekend performances are held in several towns.
