Algar waterfalls

At only 15km from Benidorm, in Callosa d'en Sarrià, there are the Algar Waterfalls where you can enjoy swimming areas (with lifesaving service during Easter and summer season), walk path through the river's bank with waterfalls and its Tolls (natural pools), as well as the indigenous flora and fauna. There is also the Arboretum, a garden with typical Mediterranean climate trees and the Museum of Environment, offering an exhibition of indigeous aromatic plants as well as the medlar (níspero) exhibition and a shop where to buy a souvenir. Other services include a picnic area (eating is not allowed out of this area),  5 restaurants, camping area with barbecue and bar, toilets and a first aid post. Open all year around.
