Capital Ljubljana with a walking tour through the old town

Explore medieval Ljubljana and Ljubljana Castle; discover its baroque and Secession architecture and the works of the architect Joze Plecnik. Walk across the bridges and through the open market and enter the cathedral with us. We visit the old town, take a walk along the banks of the river Ljubljanica, learn about the legend of the city’s origin and visit the main attractions. We go up the castle hill and stroll through the castle, then visit the chapel of St. George. Per request we can visit a viewing tower, watch a short film about the history of the castle and take in an exhibition on Slovenian history as well.
Also recommended: a one-hour boat ride on the river Ljubljanica and a chance to sample traditional mushroom soup in a bread bowl from the bread oven.
