This levada walk takes place through the emerald green paradise known as the Laurissilva forest that once covered Madeira. Today this vegetation can only be seen in certain areas of the island.
Along this path one has spectacular views over the villages far bellow of Sao Jorge and Santana. The source of this levada is a beautifull waterfall known as the Green Cauldron. It is here where we stop to relax and enjoy the enchanting beauty the island has to offer.
