Pico Areeiro – Pico Ruivo

Level of difficulty: high

It is a difficult path, with slippery floor that requires, at any time of year, the use of appropriate footwear, waterproof and flashlight for the first two tunnels. The hardest part of this route is the climb that goes from the last tunnel of the Towers to the shelter of the Red Peak.
