A short drive away is Alcobaça, where you’ll visit the glorious Gothic monastery that houses the tombs of Pedro and Ines, the tragic lovers who are considered Portugal’s own equivalent of Romeo and Juliet. We’ll have lunch a restaurant that specialises in fish dishes.
