We invite you to take a tour of the Estoril coast and enjoy the magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean. You can meet your guide in Lisbon city centre or we can pick you up directly from your hotel before heading for Sintra by bus. If you do not have much time or this is your first visit to Lisbon, this is the perfect tour to get an overview of Portugal’s Sunny Coast. Our first stop is the Sintra, a UNESCO designated World Heritage Site and resort town where you will have the opportunity to visit the National Palace of Sintra, also known as Palacio da Vila, one of the royal palaces used by the Portuguese royal family until its destitution in 1910. You will also have plenty of time to explore the numerous craft shops and to sample Sintra’s famous pastries; you shouldn’t leave without tasting the delicate queijadas and travesseiros. We will then drive on to towards the Cabo da Rocha, Portugal’s own Land’s End and the westernmost point of Europe. Travelling along this rugged coastline we will pass the spellbinding Praia do Guincho before arriving at the elegant resort town of Caiscais; its highlights are the breathtaking Boca do Inferno cliffs and the magnificent panorama of the bay of Cascais. During the return trip to Lisbon, we will pass through Estoril, with its world-famous gardens and Casino. So just sit back, relax and enjoy this unforgettable afternoon tour and discover the Sunny Coast and its beautiful beaches.
