Meet your guide in central Warsaw and after your safety briefing and practice session, put on your helmet and hop on board!
Following your private guide, drive through the small Warsaw neighborhood of Zoliborz, home to the 19th-century citadel that was built during the days of the Russian occupation. Stop outside the Monument to the Wola Massacre and hear stories from your guide about the 1944 Warsaw Uprising – a part of the city’s history that is poignantly evident at every turn.
Travel to the edgy neighborhood of Praga to see where Warsaw’s creative folk hang out, and admire the pre-war warehouses and factories that are used as bars, cafes and art studios – transforming Praga’s historical streets. WWII left its mark on Praga though, and your guide will tell you rarely known stories about the district’s role in the uprising.
Glide past the Museum of the Earth, and then stop for photos outside the PASTa skyscraper – an iconic building for many Poles. During WWII, the Nazi Germans installed important telecommunications equipment inside the building, meaning it was a key target for the Polish insurgents. Some of the uprising’s most intense fighting took place inside its walls.
After three hours exploring Warsaw by scooter, work your way back to the start point where your tour finishes.
