El Charco Trail

We offer a pleasant and comfortable walking into tropical forest to observe the tropical flora and fauna, natural phenomena. We will watch several species of birds, howler monkeys, sloths and armadillos. This was the first paved road in the interior of Panama. This trail is the remnant of the plantation road that existed in 1915 to reach a banana and cocoa farm managed by the U.S. government. Today, we'll still find some cacao tree, rubber trees and coffee plants.

Duration: 3 hours.
Start/opening time: 9am.
