Riding with the River Horse Trek
The ultimate horse riding adventure through a huge variety of landscapes; everything from pasture to manuka, farmland to swamp. What is the minimum age for horse trekking and quad bike riding?
The minimum age for our quad bike tour is 16, unless experienced then minimum age of 14. This will be at the guide's discretion as to the size and ability of the rider.
The minimum age for horse trekking is 10 for Riding with The River and 6 for Up Hill and Down Dale.
When should I book and what is your Cancellation policy?
Although we may be able to take your booking at short notice, to avoid disappointment we advise you book 24 hours or more in advance. Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance will receive a refund of monies less an administration fee of 20%. If cancellations are made within 2-24 hours we will retain a fee of 50%. No refund will be given in the event of less than 2 hours notice or for a no show. Highride Adventures reserve the right to cancel or change any part of the ride in the case of adverse weather. If for any event WE cancel the ride, you will receive a FULL refund.
