Sail around the beautiful 144 islands on-board "Lion New Zealand", the late Sir Peter Blake's 80 foot maxi-yacht. Take the opportunity to join the crew and get involved - help raise the main sail or experience the thrill of taking the helm. The "Lion New Zealand"was built for the 1985/86 Whitbread Round the World Yacht Race and won the infamous 1984 Sydney to Hobart . This is an opportunity to experience the exhilarating ride aboard this impressive maxi-yacht, sailing the Bay of Islands. Get involved and help trim the sails, take to the helm exert energy on the grinders or simply sit back and relax.

There is also a stop at Otehei Bay for lunch and activities such as kayaking, snorkeling, island walks and time to enjoy the beach at this amazing location before sailing back to the shore in the afternoon.
