Discover Amsterdam’s most popular sights in a two-and-a-half-hour city sightseeing tour and then beat the queues with fast-track entrance to the Anne Frank House in this great value combo.
Amsterdam has one of the largest historical centres in Europe and is surrounded by three rings of concentric canals making it somewhat hard to navigate. This tour an ideal way to get your bearings as well as to see the main sights. Some of the attractions you will see include the Albert Cuyp Market, the Skinny Bridge, the Royal Palace, the National Monument and of course the famous canals, lined by picturesque gabled merchants houses and warehouses from the 17th Century. We’ll also visit a windmill on the River Amstel and a stop at a diamond factory, where you can see how the gems are polished using traditional methods.
Then we'll jump the queues at the Anne Frank House. You'll learn about how Anne and her family went into hiding here and the hardships they endured escaping Nazi persecution during WWII. You'll see the desk where she wrote her harrowing diary entries and look through the fascinating exhibits featuring original documents, household items and photos.
The bus tours run from Damrak, near the Central Station every day all year at 2.30pm. The tour guide will make sure you get fast track entrance to the Anne Frank house, where you can spend as much time as you wish.
