Hiking trip in the Atlas with lunch

Enjoy a day away from bustling Marrakech. The bus will pick you up first thing in the morning from your hotel and along the way we’ll drive through the majestic landscapes of the Atlas Mountains, dotted with picturesque Berber villages clinging to the hillsides, until we reach the settlement of Imlil. You will follow the ancient mountain paths of the High Atlas Mountains to the foot of Mount Toubkal, which at 4167 meters is the highest peak in North Africa. You'll enjoy the variety of landscapes and contrasts between the different reds, browns and ochres of the earth, sparkling waterfalls and the many orchards of fruit and walnut trees, fragrant forests and traditional Berber settlements set among emerald green maize fields, an ideal setting for hiking, allowing you to discover places of singular beauty and natural riches. At noon, there will be time to get your strength back over lunch at the Atlas Tichka restaurant, located just 10 minutes from the centre of Imlil, where you can enjoy some traditional Moroccan cooking. After lunch, you'll enjoy some free time to explore the town before returning to Marrakech.
