Program:

Day 1 — Chisinau . Meeting at the airport. Transferring and putting up at the hotel. Excursion + guide – the panoramic tour of Chisinau. Returning to the hotel. 

Day 2 - Milestii-Mici — Excursion plus lunch and wine tasting. A wine gallery registered in the “Guinness Book” — Over 50 km of the underground galleries are transformed into wine warehouses in the Milestii Mici Village (almost 20 km south Chisinau). The constant annual temperature of +12… +14 C0 and the high moisture level offers favourable conditions to store the high quality wine. The wine collection consists of over 2 million bottles. The excursion is followed by a lunch with national food and wine tasting  in the underground gallery.

Day 3 -Excursion+guide – the medieval town Orheiul Vechi and Curchi Monastery. Raut river defile panorama. A halt at the agrotourist pension “Casa din lunca”. Returning to hotel.

The ancient city Old Orhei  — a unique natural and historical complex in the open air. It organically combines the natural landscape and vestiges of ancient civilizations. As a result of enormous archeological excavations here there were discovered the cultural layers of different epochs such as — the Paleolithic, Eneolithic, and Iron Age.
The breathtaking visit to the cradle of civilization – Orheiul Vechi is followed by a stay at the rural pension “Casa din Lunca” situated in the Trebujeni village. We stop at a typical Moldavian family so as to learn at least a tiny part of the vast whole of Moldavian customs and traditions. We will definitely not leave the place, until we taste the remarkable Moldavian chicken soup called “zeama with taitei”, as well as another traditional dish “sarmale in foi de vita de vie” and vegetables collected directly from the garden. You will also have the pension’s special dish – fresh warm pies “placinte” served along with the delicious home-made red wine just taken out of the barrel. Excursion includes a meal at peasant house with traditional moldavian food and home made wine.

Day 4 - Excursion+guide – visiting of the Soroca Fortress and the Candle of Gratitudeand.

Excursion to the monument „Lumînarea Recunoştinţei” (the Candle of Gratitude) in Soroca, dedicated to the author of the immortal popular work „Mioriţa”, Ion Druta. Nice monument that give a beautiful view of the Nistru river and Soroca town you’ll have the opportunity to claim around 650 steps on your way to the monument.
— Soroca Fortress is located 160 km from Chisinau. It was build between 1543-1546. It’s a huge fortification system placed on the bank of Nistru river to protect against the foreign invasions in the past.
We will also reach the incredible Gipsy Hill – another reality of our days. This is a region of Soroca town inhabited exclusively by Gipsy people. No, this is not about the famous Gipsy camps, this is about the overwhelming Gipsy style chateaux built recently.

Day 5 - Transnistria — Tiraspol & Bender city. Feel the atmosphere of this disputed territory which always has been a battlefield between the major powers of the region. The buildings of the Soviets, the monument of Suvorov and Vladimir Ilich Lenin. The city seems to be behind the times. At the same time, it is full of contrasts. One of them is the football complex “Sheriff” – a remarkable impressive building, a pearl of the modern architecture. 

Day 6 . Free day (shopping, souvenirs). Transfer from the hotel to the airport.
