Option 2: Tulum plus Akumal Beach with snorkeling and lunch
Embark on a 1-hour guided tour of Tulum plus free time to explore the site or its beautiful beach (see description above). Then, enjoy a half-hour drive by air-conditioned minivan to the picturesque beach community of Akumal. The laid-back atmosphere, natural beauty and abundant marine life at Akumal Beach provide the perfect environment for some of the best snorkeling available in the Mayan Riviera.
During a 1-hour snorkeling tour, your informative guide will help you discover all the wonders below the water’s surface. Spot a huge variety of tropical fish, colorful coral and abundant sea turtles that make Akumal their home.
Afterward, transfer to an excellent restaurant nearby for a delicious beachside lunch. Feast on the flavors of Mexico with a plate full of fajitas, rice, refried beans, quesadillas and guacamole, accompanied by flavored water.
