Los Cabos Flyboard Lesson

If you’ve ‘been there, done that’ with the usual vacation adventure sports and are ready for something new to brag about when you get home, don’t miss your chance to try a Flyboard in Los Cabos! Invented in 2011, the Flyboard is a personal water jetpack that propels you up and across the water as you stand on a board connected to a water hose. It’s not hard to learn — after a lesson with a well-trained instructor, you’ll take control of your own Flyboard and ‘fly’ up to 30 feet (10 meters) the air! The group is limited to four, ensuring you get personalized attention from your instructor.

After checking in at the marina in Los Cabos, your Flyboard adventure starts with safety tips and instruction on how to operate the Flyboard. It’s an easy-to-learn activity, and you’ll be in the capable hands of well-trained instructors who’ve had more than two weeks of intense Flyboard training. The group is limited to four, ensuring you get personalized attention from your instructor.

When you’re ready, jump on the Flyboard and feel it start to lift you out of the water with its nearly 400 pounds (180 kg) of thrust. As your adrenaline starts pumping, use your own control to blast up into the air like Ironman and hover in place. You have 30 minutes on the Flyboard — plenty of time to ‘fly’ along the Cabo coast, perfecting your newfound skills.
