Coba Mayan Village Tour

 

Coba Mayan Village is the first tour created on the Riviera Maya. An interesting and fun tour that will let our visitors know and understand the mayan culture and the mayan world. Visit the archeological site of Coba, one of the biggest and important cities of the Mayan world where you will see the second tallest mayan pyramid. Learn about the mayan ballgame. Learn about why they buit this big city, how people in that era built the pyramids, what they saw in the universe. Know one of the places where you can see the famous prediction of the year 2012.

The continuous relation with many mayan villages gives COBA MAYAN VILLAGE the opportunity to participate in the economic, social, cultural and ecological development of the Mayan communites.

Visit a “cenote” where you can swim in the clear waters. Participate in a Mayan purification and learn how the mayan villages produce the chewing gum.

One part of the revenues of Coba Mayan Village is used to create and promote some ecological and educational programs that will benefit the Mayan communities

-          Pick up at hotel or determined point around 8:00 am

-          Tour guide in Coba – 2 hours

-          1 hour for lunch

-          Mayan Village visit – 1 hour

-          Cenote visit – 1 hour

-          Return to hotel around 5:30 – 6:30 pm
