Visit Chichen Itza, one of the most outstanding cities of the Mayan culture. The Maya name «Chich'en Itza» means «At the mouth of the well of the Itza» and the site exhibits a multitude of architectural styles, which allow you to appreciate the past splendor of this civilization.

You may choose to visit this archaeological site on a luxury bus, a regular bus with air conditioning or make an express trip to Chichen Itza and back in a van. Regardless of the transportation you choose for your visit, some of the sights that make the trip worthwhile are The Castle (el Castillo), The Ball Court (El juego de pelota) and the Observatory (El observatorio). With a little bit of luck, and if you visit this amazing place at the end of March or September, you will be able to contemplate the shadow of a snake coming down through the stairs.
