Day 1: Enjoy a day of leisure in the «white city» Merida where you can enjoy local parks, street performers and shopping.
Day 2: Pick up from your hotel at 9am and your guide will take you to a cenote where a Shaman (Mayan priest) will liberate and reconcile your being through traditional cleansing ceremonies, blessings, prayers and meditation. This will introduce the path of light to achieve unity, wholeness, and perfect synchronization between body, mind, soul, spirit, cosmos and nature, in a lush part of history and culture. You will also visit a cave and have dinner at a Mayan home. Return to your hotel at 5pm
Day 3: Free day to explore the museums, galleries and theaters of Merida
Day 4: Pick up from your hotel at 9am. Your specialized guide will take you to snorkel in a cenote. Next you will be taken to a cave to weave Jipi-Japa hat where the women work in the humidity to keep the fibers from going stiff. The afternoon will be spent exploring a traditional Mayan village where they will show you how to prepare tipical Yucatan food. You will use their handmade ingredients to create your very own tortillas. The Mayan family will make you feel at home while they teach you the local language, customs and recipes. Your guide will return you to your hotel at 5pm
Day 5: Free day — try heading to the port town of Progreso to check out the white sand beaches
Day 6: Pick up from hotel at 9am where your guide will escort you to the Sotuta de Peon hacienda where you will see how henequen fiber is processed from the natural agave stalk to the finished product of rope and twine. Lunch will be provided for you at the hacienda and after the day your guide will return you to your hotel at 5pm.
Day 7: Transport to airport
