Half Day Round Island Discovery

This tour takes you to the outskirts of George Town, where you will visit a Batik factory to witness how wax and dye are used in the painting process, one of the largest original hand-made batik factories in Northern Malaysia. Proceed to the sleepy fishing village of Teluk Bahang. From here we will drive past the fruit plantation, with a brief stop at a fruit stall to discover some of our exotic tropical fruits & spices.

We then proceed on to the famous Snake Temple or the Temple of Azure Cloud, where poisonous Wagler's pit vipers perch on the altars. It was built in 1850, probably the one and only of its kind in the world. Visit the well known OE Design and admire the intricate pieces of jewellery that have been crafted.

Others: Dress standards are conservative throughout Asia, especially outside major cities. To respect this and for your own comfort, we strongly recommend modest clothing.
