Clan houses with intricate wood and stone carvings. Winner of the UNESCO Asia-Pacfic Heritage Conservation Award. Next is Yap Kongsi - a clan association built in 1924, and Ciji Temple - a Taoist Temple dedicated to Nan`an patron deity.

Later, you will be taken to the Hock Teik Cheng Sin Temple, which is the Hokkien secret society headquarters in the mid-19th century. When you are done with that, you will get to see another Hokkien Clan temple, which is Cheah Kongsi that was founded in 1820 and built in 1858.

Last stop is the world renowned Pinang Peranakan Mansion. The typical home of a rich Baba of a century ago is recreated to offer a glimpse of their opulent lifestyle and of their many customs and traditions. With over 1,000 pieces of antiques and collectibles of the era on display, this Baba-Nyonya museum is also housed in one of Penang’s heritage mansions of eclectic design and architecture.
