Half Day Botanical Garden And Butterfly Farm

The Botanical Garden is an oasis of peace and tranquillity with lush green surroundings. See native and hybrid orchids, cactus plant collections, varied collections of ferns, bamboo plants, flowering trees and shrubs.

Next, visit Penang Butterfly Farm which spans 0.8 hectares and is home to 3,000 living specimens from over 50 species of colourful butterflies, frogs, scorpions and other insects. It features a lily pond, rock garden, bubbling mud pool and artificial waterfalls. You will also be taken to Penang`s latest attraction, a Propolis Bee Farm which offers insight into bee breeding. Get to know the differences between natural and synthesised honey, the various types of bees and the honey they produce.

Later, visit Royal Selangor, one of the oldest pewter makers in the world since 1885, for a brief demonstration on pewter finishing.
