Trek through the jungle on this amazing tour of Malaysia’s exuberant wildlife. The Forest Research Institute Malaysia is located a mere 16km northwest of the hectic Kuala Lumpur. After a short ride towards the preserved rainforest, the hustle and the bustle of the capital will be a distant memory.

At the institute, you will be able to wander through the lush tropical rainforest in an area that protects the environment and makes a responsible use of the forest’s natural resources. Your well-versed guide will tell you all about the value and richness of a primary rainforest and much more interesting information.

Along the way to the jungle, which will last about an hour, admire the breathtaking Malaysian landscape as city slowly dissolves into nature. While you are driven through the beautiful countryside, you will come across many little traditional Malaysian villages. Contemplate the sense of joy and simplicity emanating from their rural way of life, far from the worries of heavy civilisation.

Stop by at the Aboriginal Museum and discover an exciting and curious collection of aboriginal instruments such as hunting weapons, clothes made from tree barks, handmade musical instruments and much more.

After the museum, prepare your boots and get ready for the jungle trek. Before jumping into the bush, you will receive a crash-course from your guide. Along the way, learn to identify the many trees and fruits. Don’t miss out on the thrilling canopy walk or the nature trails.
