Trakai is considered the second medieval capital of Lithuanian Grand Duchy. This unique ancient town is surrounded by 5 lakes. On one of the islands high red towers of the residence of Lithuanian grand dukes rise up. Trakai is located just in 30 km from Vilnius, the current capital of Lithuania.
