Half Day Sabaidee Luang Prabang With Jumbo From Hotel Inside Luang Prabang City Only

Starting your tour by “JUMBO” that is an excellent way to experience the World Heritage city of Luang Prabang at close hand. The Jumbo is a local vehicle used by the locals with no air conditioning and has a couple of seats in the back. Luang Prabang is renowned as the cultural and religious capital of Laos. You will depart from the hotel by Jumbo to visit Wat Visoun, entirely rebuilt after being destroyed in 1887 by the invading ‘Black Flag’ Haw people from southern China. In the courtyard of Wat Visoun stands the ‘Watermelon Stupa’, shaped like the fruit, from which it takes its name. Then we’ll have a pleasant stroll through the neighborhood to see how local people live, and the traditional Lao and French colonial architecture. Our Jumbo will be waiting for us at the Villa Santi Hotel (Royal Palace) to transfer us back to our hotel.
