This Northern Kenya Safari Tour covers the highlights of the Northern Kenya that is rich in scenery and in culture. This trip will give you unforgettable experience of the great Northern Kenyan frontier.

Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Turkana

You will be transferred to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Lodwar Airstrip. The flight takes between 1. 5 hrs- 2hrs. A transfer vehicle will then take you to Eliye Spring Resort where you will stay for 4 days. Have a relaxed afternoon at the resort. Later on you will have dinner and overnight at Eliye.

Day 2: Central Island

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred by a boat to the Central Island. Central is made up of three volcanoes that produce sulfurous smoke and steam. Three crater lakes, Crocodile Lake, Flamingo Lake, and Tilapia Lake, provide breeding grounds for the world’s largest concentration of Nile crocodiles. Stop for a picnic lunch at Central Island and then later drive back to Eliye. A customized camping at the island can be organized. Dinner and overnight stay is at Eliye Resort.

Day 3: Lake Turkana

Have a relaxed breakfast at the resort. Today day you may opt to do some optional activities or just relax at the beautiful resort. Some of the recommended activities are a visit to Koobi Fora Museum and Sibiloi National Park, sport fishing at Lake Turkana, visit Turkana homesteads, or finalize the day with a Turkana sundowner. Dinner and overnight stay is at Eliye Resort.

Day 4: Lake Turkana - Nairobi

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred back to Lodwar to catch a morning flight back to Nairobi. The flight will take around 1.5 hrs to 2 hrs back to Wilson Airport in Nairobi. Later on you will be taken to the international airport or to your residential hotel.
