The Conservancy is home to a wide variety of wildlife including the rare and endangered black rhino, Grevy's zebra and sitatunga. It also includes the big five (Masai lion, African leopard, bush elephant, rhino and African buffalo). Lewa holds over 12% of Kenya's eastern black rhinoceros population and the largest single population of Grevy's zebras in the world (approximately 350 individuals).

The Conservancy is also home to the Northern Rangelands Trust, an innovative partnership with a number of communities to the north who have given land for the preservation of wildlife. Lewa has its own education program that helps develop schools and students. Lewa Wildlife Conservancy is located south of Isiolo town but north of Mount Kenya.

Day 1: Nairobi

On the first day of your Kenya vacation, after arriving at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met by one of our representatives and driven to a boutique hotel in the suburbs of Nairobi. Relax in the tropical garden or take in the City sights. In the evening you could savour dinner at one of the city's famous restaurants. (All Meals for Own Account)

Day 2: Lewa Wildlife Conservancy

Today after breakfast you will be driven to Wilson Airport to catch a scheduled flight to Lewa. After landing at a bush airstrip, one of the guides will meet you and drive you to the camp for the next 3 nights. Delight in a mini game drive en route to the lodge spotting Grevy's Zebra and the Reticulated Giraffe. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)

Day 3 & 4: Lewa Wildlife Conservancy

Spend the next couple of days of your Kenya vacation exploring the Lewa region which is a stronghold for the highly endangered Black Rhino in Kenya. The conservancy is intimately connected with the local tribes and much of the profit is used in community and conservation projects. Encounter animals from a different perspective while on a guided walk in the company of an expert guide. This is also a great opportunity to see some of the 350 species of birds that occur in the region. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)

Day 5: Nairobi

On the final day of Lewa Safari you will be driven back to the airport to catch a scheduled flight back to Nairobi. On arrival at Wilson Airport, you'll be met at the airport and driven to the international airport for your onwards travel arrangements. Alternatively, please speak to one of our Destination Specialists should you require accommodation in Nairobi. (Breakfast Included)
