Jordan Tour

Day 1: Upon arrival at the airport our representative will meet and transfer you to the hotel in Amman for overnight.

 

Day 2: Breakfast. North of Amman  Jerash is located, the best preserved Roman provincial city in the Middle East. See the Forum, Colonnaded Street, the Temple of Artemis and of Zeus. Then visiting Ajlun: the marvels of nature and the genius of medieval Arab military architecture have given northern Jordantwo of the most important ecological and historical attractions in the Middle East. toward Um Qais, charming and ancient Greco-roman city, that offer an astonishing sightseeing on the Jordan’ Valley, the Tiberiade’s lake and the Golan’s Heights. Transfer back to Amman. Overnight.

Day 3: Breakfast. Visit the ruins of Amman’s Roman theatre, the Citadel, the Umayyad Palace and the Archaeological and Folklore museums. Proceed toDead Sea : The Dead sea has an historical and spiritual legacy of its own. With much of the landscape virtually unchanged since ancient times this is a favorite spot for spend the day sunbathing, swimming, or simply relaxing … Overnight at resort there.

Day 4: Day dedicated to experience the ancient “Kings’ Highway”: Madaba, the “mosaics city”; here it is the most famous mosaic of the VI century. Then visitingMt Nebo, where Moses was told to see the promised Land, and then continue to visit St. George’s Church, where we will see the old famous mosaic map of the Holy Land. Proceeding with the Crusader fortress of Kerak, dating the XIIth century. Then driving towards Petra for hotel overnight.

Day 5: The whole day we have time to discover the red-rose city of Petra, belonging to the Seven Wonders of the World. The rock city had been carved in the sandstone by the Nabataeans 2000 years ago. After leaving behind the 1.2 km narrow canyon called Siq we reach the impressing Treasury. Other highlights will be the Royal Tombs, Qasr al-Bint and the Monastery El Deir. Overnight in Petra.

 

Day 6: In the morning we will enjoy a Jeep Tour in the spectacular desert of Wadi Rum, a dramatic landscape consisting of desert and mountains. The jeeps bring us to Nabataean inscriptions, sand dunes and canyons. In Aqaba we have half day for leisure on the Red Sea and spend the night here.

 

Day 7: Breakfast. Free day at leisure in Aqaba. Afternoon return to Amman. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 8: Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Assistance with formalities by a member of our staff and departure.
