Day 1 Arrival
We meet our driver at Queen Alia International Airport upon arrival. Transfer to hotel in Amman for overnight
Day 2 Amman city tour / Desert castles
Sightseeing tour through Amman, the ancient and modern capital of Jordan, originally built on seven hills. From the top of the citadel, one of the highest hills in Amman, we have a splendid view of the old city. We visit the Citadel and the Roman Theater. Continue to the Desert Castles, built by the Omayyad Caliphs of Damascus in the 8th century A.D. as hunting lodges. Wildly varied in architectural style we see: Qasr Al-Kharraneh, Qasr Amra and Qasr Al-Azraq. Overnight in Amman
Day 3 Jerash / Um Qeis
Today we drive to the north of Amman to visit Jerash, which is one of the most complete examples of a provincial Roman city to be seen anywhere. Jerash was one of the cities of the Roman Decapolis, and to this day, its paved and colonnaded streets, soaring hilltop temples, handsome theaters, spacious public squares and plazas, baths, fountains and city walls pierced by towers and gates remain in exceptional condition. After visiting Jerash, we continue to visit Um Qeis, which lies 378 meters above sea level with a magnificent view over the Yarmouk River, the Golan Heights, and Lake Tiberias, this town was known as Gadara, one of the most brilliant ancient Greco-Roman cities of the Decapolis. Day 4 Madaba / Mt. Nebo / Shobak / Petra
Today we drive to visit Madaba, home of the most famous Byzantine Mosaics and most of all the 6th century map of the holy places in the biblical world. Continue to Mount Nebo, with its spectacular view of the Holy Land, which we overlook just as Moses did over 3,000 years ago. Then continue on south to visit the ancient crusader castle of Shobak, early afternoon we arrive to Wadi Musa (Petra) for overnight
Day 5 Petra
Full day-tour in the Red Rose rock-city of Petra, which has lately been voted to be one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. Upon arrival, we will begin an unforgettable trip through the Siq until we reach the Treasury. We visit the Amphitheatre, the Triumphal arch, Pharaoh’s castle, the Monastery, and the Royal Tombs. Surely, Petra is the highlight of our journey! Overnight in Petra
Day 6 Wadi Rum / Aqaba
Today we drive to the largest and most magnificent of Jordan's deserts “Wadi Rum” which became famous through the movie “Lawrence of Arabia”. After visit continue southward until we reach the port city of Aqaba on the Red Sea, which is Jordan’s only port, and is famous for its warm weather all year round
Day 7 Aqaba / Dead Sea / Amman
Drive through Wadi Arava to the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea, which is famous for its salty waters. Enjoy the sun and bathe in the world’s saltiest sea with magical healing powers. For overnight back to Amman
Day 8 Departure
Today we have to say good-bye! Transfer to Queen Alia Airport to take our flight home
