HIGH ABOVE THE CLOUDS: CLIMBING MOUNT FUJI

Climb to the top of Mt. Fuji with our expert guides and witness sunrise from the summit of Japan’s national symbol. Discover the beauty of the Fuji Five Lakes area; staying in a traditional Japanese ryokan with tatami mat floors, rice-paper doors and onsen hot springs to relax and soothe yourself in.

Meet your expert climbing guide and walk to the starting point of your climb, the 5^th station at 2300 meters above sea level. Climb to the 7^th station and rest for a few hours before beginning your final ascent. Arrive at the summit just before sunrise and witness the start of a new day on Fuji’s peak. Descend to Kawaguchiko station and bid farewell to your guide. Stay in a traditional Japaneseryokan and indulge as kimono clad waitresses serve you a kaiseki, a beautifully presented meal consisting of many small courses. Take an after dinner soak in your onsen; guaranteed to relax and soothe.
