Your horseback-riding tour begins with convenient pickup from your Negril hotel. When you arrive at the stables — a restored 18th-century home set on 2,000 acres (810 hectares) — you’ll be paired up with a gentle horse that matches your riding experience, if any.

Once you’re ready, follow your guide into the Jamaican wilderness! For approximately 1.5 hours, ride along the rugged trails that crisscross a variety of terrain, from beach to hills. Head down a path that leads to the coast, or ride through the jungle, admiring the towering bamboo and other native vegetation.

Keep your eyes peeled for tropical birds, and enjoy views of Negril as you climb in elevation. At the end of your ride, you’ll be driven back to your hotel.
