We are Arianna and Monica and we would like to invite you to join us in our one day hands-on cooking class in our relaxed and easy-going kitchen, in Arianna’s private countryside home, on the Riviera del Brenta, not far from Villa Pisani, in Stra. The cooking lesson is always followed by a meal where you will taste the delicious food which we prepared all together. Arianna’s house is in Mira, on the Riviera del Brenta, just a few kilometres from Venice Historic City.
With our help you will learn how to make simple but mouthwatering dishes, which you will easily be able to reproduce once you go home. You will discover how to make easy but stunning appetizers, real Italian first courses, delicious second courses with side dishes and scrumptious desserts. No particular skills are needed as we will teach you uncomplicated homemade easy recipes, with simple ingredients which you will be able to find also once you get back home. Their menus and recipes are as easy as pie!
Recipes vary according to the season, utilizing only fresh and local ingredients, which we source from our local shops and farmers or from Arianna’s own garden.
Everyone is encouraged to actively participate, with emphasis on fun. In addition to sharing the “art of cooking” in Arianna’s own kitchen, we place great value on socializing and inter-cultural exchange experienced during our lessons. Everyone gets a chance to tell his or her own story.
Our culinary art classes are held on request for a minimum of two people ( when a booking is confirmed for two people, it does not guarantee a private class, only that you will have a guaranteed space in the class on the day you have chosen). Maximum 8 partecipants.
The cooking class is taught in Italian and English and lasts four hours, kitchen equipment (aprons, utensils, etc.) is provided, a booklet in English with the recipes of the day is provided, Included in the price is transportation to/from your hotel and a short trip to local store for shopping. All products used are local and in season. On arrival a selection of local cold meats, breads and cheeses and local wines will be offered for tasting
