The Renaissance Period in Milan

The Last Supper By Da Vinci and the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie By Bramante, the most famous Italian Renaissance Architect. In order to visit the Last Supper is necessary to book almost two months earlier. 

Following the discovery of San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore, one of the most beautiful churches of 16th century Milan, home to the richest nuns’ community of the city with its annex Monastery. Don’t be misled by the simple and sober façade of the church of San Maurizio. Inside all the walls have been frescoed by Luini ( milan XVI C painter), thus turning the architecture into a precious artistic shrine.

The tour ends in the church of Santa Maria Presso San Satiro, a famous church by Donato Bramante.
