What can you see in Rome having just one day? Many monuments can be discovered in one day but what you need first is a local expert english speaking driver/guide who can allow you to save more time and energy because the knowledge of our territory is our best pride and makes our tours of Rome more efficient every time we perform them.
So let’s start:
Pick up at the pier at 8:00 A.M. will be right in front of the Boat exit door. There will be your driver with your last name printed on a paper-sheet sign. You’ll drive in a smooth motorway through the country and see the Etruscan Landscapes with a Luxury Mercedes Mini Van. It will take approx. 80 minutes to get toRome.
First stop it will be the circus maximus follow by the Colosseum.
In order to avoid lengthy and time-consuming queues, I will obtain the entry tickets in advance as a complimentary service for my clients (the Coliseum charges 15 Euros per ticket reservation included).
After we’ll visit the Trevi fountain, to make a wish to come back toRomefollow by spanish steps, people square.
At this point we can decide to stop for a light lunch including pasta or pizza in a very nice typical Roman Trattoria (pizza, pasta, gelato and much more )
The last stop will be atVaticanMuseums, the Sistine Chapel and St.Peter's Basilica.
A privateVaticantour guide will take you on a tour of 2 or 3 hours (150 euros extra that you can pay directly to the guide at the end of the tour). The Guide is optional of course, but highly recommended to gather knowledge about the number 1 Museum of the World!
Please note that in St.Peter's Basilica shorts, sleeveless tops and short skirts are not admitted.
For the men even the short pants must arrive under the knees.
Around 4:30/5:00 P.M. we’ll be ready to go back to the Port, exhausted but happy !!!!
