This type of tour is a great idea if you already had an overview of the rest of the city and now you want to concentrate more on the archaelogical part of Rome with a bit more depth on foot.
The tour begins from the lobby of your hotel with the greetings of a walking guide whom will tour you and help you to understand the history of Rome from the 753 B.C. and goes all through more than 1,200 years of Roman domination till the fall of Rome 476 D.C. (Monarchy, Republic and Empire period).
An incredible experience through the Campidoglio hill, considered by the romans one of the most important of the seven, for the locations of the most important temples of those days dedicated to the three main gods of the city: Minerva, Giove, Giunone. Down the hill and you will reach the Roman Forum that was the centre of any kind of decision: Financial, Religious and Political, heart of the city and brain of an empire that reached the 60,000,000 people in the II cent D.C.
Walking through the Arch of Tito’s it’s impossible to miss the incredible Anfitheatre of Flaviu’s famous in all over the world as the “Colosseo” symbol for the romans even today with it’s 50 metres of high overlooks you as an old warrior, tired, but still full of pride. With your guide you will be able to by pass the long lines and enter to site to understand what used to happen in here and how it was built.

The same ticket includes entrance to the Colosseo, Roman Forum and Palatine hill. WIth your guide you will not need to purchase this ticket in advance. As this is a walking tour, you will begin on foot from the lobby of your hotel or a meeting location mutually agreed upon as no transportation is included.
