Then the walking tour “Rome in one day” may be what you are looking for! It lasts up to 7-8 hours in a relaxed atmosphere and covers the most interesting points of the Eternal City. Our tour starts at the Colosseum — the famous ancient amphitheatre, where gladiators fought for their lives. Then we’ll move to the very centre of the Roman Impire – the Roman Forum. We’ll try to recall the voices of the past at a place of an incredible energy and will find out how many things we’ll got fr om the Romans, including the first multy-storied buildings in human history! We will climb up the Capitolium hill where Rome started and admire the genius of Michelangelo. Our tour will lead us towards the Tiber river where an ancient port was. We’ll relax at the green atmosphere of the Tiberina Island and proceed into the narrow streets of the “ghetto” of Rome, one of the first Jewish ghettos in Europe. We’ll commemorate the tragic destiny of Giordano Bruno at the square where he was publicly burnt and listen to the voice of Galileo Galilei at the former centre of the inquisition. We’ll admire one of the most famous examples of the artitectural genius – the Pantheon and will try to guess its mistery. Our tour will lead us to Piazza Navona – the artistic square of Rome, where we’ll proceed towards the Spanish Square or the Bridge of Angels. We can also change our route, according to your preferences.
