Roma Empire Now and Then

Stand aghast at an abundance of ancient sights on this fascinating Rome tour which will take you on a journey back in time to Ancient Rome. See monuments and buildings which were created in the Roman and Renaissance eras which still stand today! The tour is available to groups of a maximum of 12, in order to ensure that you get an intimate tour experience.

Be taken back to the ancient times of Rome with trips to the various old sights which exist in the magnificent capital. Visit the Capitoline Hill to see the square designed by Michelangelo, as well as the statue of Marcus Aurelius. You will be allowed to venture into the terraces, from where you’ll be able to gaze over the magnificent Roman forum. Stop off at the Jewish ghetto on the way, with kosher restaurants and shops. Learn about how the area was affected during the war and pass by the synagogue.

Also take the chance to experience the modern day Rome. Step inside the bakery where they make some of the best pizza rossa in Rome, freshly baked and hot from the oven. From there you will be taken to the Piazza Mattei, where you will be able to see the Turtle Fountain and enjoy the brilliant atmosphere with the hustle and bustle of a Roman square. Marvel at the Marcellus Theatre, an ancient Roman theatre which has been incorporated in Renaissance buildings, which have been subsequently converted into homes which are thousands of years old!
