Day 1: Arrival in Olbia or Cagliari, transfer (not included) to Barisardo (1,30 h) Check-in and welcome.
Day 2: (Barisardo-Arzana 40 km — 1010 mt) The nice beach of Barisardo lies behind us, in front we have the first slopes towards the rises of the Ogliastra region. The stage is short, so we can get confident with Sardinian’s roads. Dinner and overnight in Arzana.
Day 3: (Arzana-Sadali 64 km — 990 mt) It is a mountain stage, but almost for the whole way we have a sea view, even if far away. We bike steadily at 700 m, touching the Gennargentu and bordering into the Barbagia region until we arrive at Sadali.
Day 4: (Sadali-Orroli 53 km — 680 mt) ). This stage wounds up on the very nice roads of the Barbagia region. The panoramas change and we bike through narrow holm-oak woods with a view in the lake Flumendosa. Before arriving at the village of Orroli, we meet a part of the historical-cultural heritage protected by the UNESCO: the nuraghe Arrubiu. Dinner and overnight in Orroli.
Day 5: (Orroli-Cardedu 81 km — 1123 mt) From Orroli, from the Barbagia region, the mountains of central Sardinia, you will plunge again into the sea of the Ogliastra coast. After biking through 83 km of so different environment we will reach Cardedu. Dinner and overnight in Cardedu.
Day 6: (Cardedu-Tortolì42 km 207 mt) A soft stage, relaxed cycling along the coast road recovering energy to face the last strains. Soon we arrive at Santa Maria, sea and relax are earned. Dinner and overnight in Tortolì
Day 7: (Ring road tour — Tortolì 61 km 890 mt) The great final is a stage in which after a very long slope from 0 to 1200 m of altitude, over Talana, a very small village in Ogliastra, we will admire the most beautiful panorama we could enjoy from these mountains. The descent to return to Santa Maria will be the memory you take away from this marvellous holiday on a road bike. Dinner and overnight in Tortolì
Day 8: Transfer (not included) to the airport and end of services.
