Handcraft in Florence

It is enough to mention the word “Florence” to make the eyes of every dreamer sparkle, and to awake his love for art, style, crafts and culture in general. A lot has been said and a lot has been written about Florence, that is because it has many things to tell, things for which our knowledge will never be complete, such is the literacy, mastery and erudition of this city. Depart from the Accademia Gallery with the majestic Michelangelo's David and then stop at the shop Le Pietre nell'Arte - Mosaics Scarpelli, to the discovery of the technique of Florentine mosaic Walk in Piazza del Duomo, with its monumental: Baptistery, Cathedral and Bell Tower. Visit the Church of Orsanmichele with the Guild of Arts and Crafts and the prestigious statues of the Renaissance masters : Ghiberti , Donatello, Verrocchio and many others. Take some photos in Piazza della Signoria with the Loggia de ' Lanzi and the Palazzo Vecchio. Cross Ponte Vecchio with its goldsmith.  Last stop at the Papyrus shop to discover the technique of paper marbling.
