BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE TOUR

The route takes you in the beautiful valley of Grauson, site with many natural elements that characterize it. Starting from the village Gimillan (1.814 m asl), the route goes up until the entrance of the valley. Then, after a descent, we reach the hamlet Ecloseur (1.903 m asl) located on the valley floor. The itinerary continues on the orographic left bank up to the pastures of “Grauson-Désot” (2.273 m asl). After deviated to the left at the fork that leads to “Invergneux step”, the last stretch of the trail heads north-west along an area of ​​alpine meadows up to the magnificent glacial basin  where is located the  lake Corona (2.702 m asl), the final destination of the excursion.

DESCRIPTION OF THE TOUR

The route takes you in the beautifulvalley ofGrauson site with many natural elements that characterize it. Starting from the hamlet. Gimillan (1.814 m asl), the route climbs a 100 m drop up to the entrance of the valley. Then, after a downhill, the path reach the hamlet Ecloseur (1.903 m s.l.m.), located on the valley bottom. The route continues on the orographic left bank up to the pastures of  “Grauson Désot” (2.273 m asl). After deviated to the left at the fork that leads to “Invergneux step”, the last section of the trail heads in a northwesterly direction along a field of alpine pastures up to the magnificent glacial basin in which is located the lake Corona ( 2.702 m asl),  the final destination of the excursion and the place where there will be a lunch break. In the afternoon we turn back to the place of departure following the same itinerary we made before.

PRICE 

The fee is 130 € for the day, whatever the number of participants. Because it requires a good workout, the tour is only recommended for adults or children trained over the age of 10 years

The tour can also be made by one participant, subject to participation’s  fee, to be paid to the guide for the conduct

CLOTHING, EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS RECOMMENDED

spare shirts, pail or sweater, waterproof jacket, pants, trekking boots, wool hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, backpack trips (just a capacity of 25-30 liters), drinks, lunch

Recommended: trekking poles, water bottle, camera

n case of bad weather we can visit the park’s visitor center in the locality ofMinersVillage and waterfalls  of Lillaz with a fee of 70 € for an half-day
