You have probably already heard about the “Eataly” movement, one of the greatest and most famous food chain store, specialized in the distribution and administration of local products and all the best Italy has to offer.
We are offering a pleasant journey to promote the culture of the “bel paese” in order to discover and re-discover the Italian culinary roots.
Eataly presents several stores all over the world (one of the most famous in America rises in New York City, NY). Next opening in different Italian cities such as Milan and Florence but also in major cities around the world such as Chicago, Los Angeles, Toronto, London, Instanbul and San Paolo as well. For its size, greatness and importance, the Roman Store is probably one of a kind.
We will show you the beauty flavors and all the honored specialties that this “Temple of Food” may offer.
Eataly is located where the former Air Terminal Ostiense was, in Piazzale 12 Ottobre 1492 (just a few steps away from the Roma Ostiense railway station). It is distributed on four floors for a total of 182992 square feet (around 17.000 square meters). 23 reastaurants, 40 teaching areas and 8 area for courses. More than 14 thousand products on sale and 8 places for production at sight, from the best mozzarellas cheese to filled pasta.
Eataly is open 7 days a week, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.
-GROUND FLOOR: /Entrance and Exit (cashes), fresh fruits and vegetables, vegetarian restaurant, bakery, bookstore, sweets, jams, honey and chocolate, chocolate shops, sandwiches, Bar, Piadineria, patisserie.
-FIRST FLOOR: Fresh pasta (production and sales) Grocery (pasta, tomatoes, seasonings, preservatives) Internal brewery, Beer selling, beer tasting room, restaurant for pasta, pizzeria, meats and cheese sale, meats and cheese restaurant, frying.
-SECOND FLOOR: wine bar, wine selling, Roman tavern, butcher, fishmonger, fish restaurant, meat restaurant.
-THIRD FLOOR: Convention center, cooking class rooms, Restaurant “ITALIA”, offices.
