Baroque Segway Tour (morning)

Roll through Rome’s medieval streets and discover the architectural and artistic wonders the Renaissance brought to the Eternal City. Five hundred years ago, Michelangelo, Bernini, Bramante and other great artists transformed a Rome in ruins into the Baroque gem it is today. Our experienced tourleaders will lead you to their great masterpieces. The meeting is at Via Ostilia 29 ( just a 5 minute walk from the Coliseum). Then you will take part at our segway training session in the park located very close to our office.  We will drive along the famous Via dei Fori Imperialistreet towardsthe Campidoglio square which is one of the baroque masterpieces designed by Michelangelo. From there we will head towards Campo de Fiori, known for the daily street market and nightlife. Piazza Navona with its unique fountains is probably the most beautiful and famous square of the world and is the next stop.  We will enter the beautiful and impressive Pantheon and will for sure blow your mind because it is the best preserved monument of the ancient times. The we will discover the breathtaking beauty of the St. Ignazio church. The Trevi Fountain where you have to throw a coin inside the water and make a wish! Following to that are the world known Spanish Steps.  ( Piazza delPopolo if time allows) After that we will slowly return toward our office. During our tours we will be using Ipod videos which include impressive video explanations and reconstructions of all monuments of the tour.                                                                                 ( In case you prefer a private free speaking licenced tourguide please let us know)

You’ll be amazed at how much ground you cover on your Segways. Our tourleaders will lead you through the maze-like roads of Rome, where a new treasure awaits you around every corner. This is an amazing tour supposed to give you a great idea about the citycenter. Keep in mind that a few spots during the tour are crowded during high season. So this is a tour with a medium difficulty level which is fine also for beginners. ( In case you do not feel to sure about which tour to book we recommend our Imperial Tour).
