From nearly 1.000 years Bari is one of the main destinations for Christian and Orthodox believers, who comes to Bari hoping to touch the grave where rest the relics of Saint Nicholas.

During this guided tour we will visit the magnificent Basilica and the Cathedral, with a pleasant break for a typical lunch and some of the best quality and affordable shopping in the country!

09.00:   Meet-up with the guide.

We will visit the Basilica of Saint Nicolaus, one of the most revered and beloved saints all over the world, an important pilgrimage destination both for Roman Catholics and Orthodox Christians from Eastern Europe.

Visit of the Old Town

13.00:   Lunch in a typical trattoria in the Old Town.

14.30:   Visit to the Cathedral, the Normann-Swabian castle and walking on the seaside promenade.

16.30:   Shopping tour in the city centre.

19.30:   Farewell meeting.
