BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE TOUR

The trail takes you on the right side of the valley above the villageof Lillaz(1. 611 m asl) in the heart of the Gran   ParadisoNational Park. Starting from Lillaz, we walk along a stretch of the regional trekking route n°2 until the junction with the local path n°13G that leads to Bardoney pasture  (2.245 m). From here, the track climbs the hill to reach a glacial basin, location of the LakeLoiewhich offer spectacular view of Mont Blancmassif. Finally the route returns to the place of departure, after a steep descent through the pine forest which is located upstream the villageof Lillaz.

8.30 am at the parking area in Lillaz (1.611 m asl)

 Circular itinerary  of 7 hours including lunch break of one hour

DESCRIPTION OF THE TOUR

 Departing from Lillaz (1.611 m asl), the itinerary follows the route of the regional trekking route n°2 and, after passing through a long wooded area, reach the junction with local path number 13G at an altitude of 2.150 m above sea leve, just before the village named Teppe Londze. From here,  it's easy to reach Bardoney pasture (2.245 m asl), located on the valley floor, after about 3h-3h 30min walking from the starting point Lillaz.  In this place we will lunch. Then the route continues in the north-west direction to reach a glacial basin, location of the LakeLoie(2.346 m asl) wich offer a 180 degrees panoramic view. Then the route returns to the place of departure after a steep descent through the pine forest which is located upstream the villageof Lillaz.

PRICE 

The fee is 130 € for the day, whatever the number of participants. Because it requires a good workout, the tour is only recommended for adults or children trained over the age of 10 years

3-4 days before the tour if it is done on the weekend

7 days before if is done during the week

MINIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS

 The tour can also be made by one participant, subject to participation’s  fee, to be paid to the guide for the conduct

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS

 Maximum 10 people

CLOTHING, EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS RECOMMENDED

 spare shirts, pail or sweater, waterproof jacket, pants, trekking boots, wool hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, backpack trips (just a capacity of 25-30 liters) , drinks, lunch

Recommended: trekking poles, water bottle, camera

IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER

In case of bad weather we can visit the park’s visitor center in the locality of Miners Village and waterfalls  of Lillaz with a fee of 70 € for an half-day
