Siena is a perfect conserved medieval city in Tuscan. Walking along its narrow streets we will discover its secrets and treasures. In Siena twice a year takes place a very special event, the Palio, i.e. a horse race which is not a folkloristic spectacle! The Palio represents the soul of Siena and only who was born in Siena can entirely understand and live it. During our tour we walk along the historical streets on the center of Siena and we visit the most important place in it: the Cathedral dedicated to The Assumption of the Virgin Mary, the cathedral square, Piazza del Campo with its extraordinary shape in the form of a fan or scallop shell. In front of us will stand the magnificent Palazzo Pubblico with its incredibly tall main tower (102 m.). The square is surrounded by very ancient medieval Palaces made by red bricks. Then we continue along the via dei Banchi where in the past were the banks and now stand beautiful palaces and churches.
