Varanus komodoensis is the scientific name of the komodo dragon, a giant lizard found only in the eastern part of Indonesia. Tens of thousands of domestic and international tourists flocked to see the giant lizard, believed to have remained unchanged through eons of evolution. But the mighty lizard will not be the only star of this journey. You will be even more mesmerized by the unique trip leading to the island of the giant lizards.

It is said that there are only 5 places in the world where you can find a salt water lake in the middle of an island, and one of them sits on the volcanic island of Santoda. Don't forget to hang rocks at trees surrounding the lake and make a wish! Locals swear it will come true. Do that before you enjoy what is lurking beneath the water surface in Santoda! You might find yourself swimming with the dolphins and enjoy the exotic landscape of Sumbawa Island.
Prepare to roam on the red sands of Red beach and sever the captivating coral reef with thousands of unique marine life before encountering the giant lizard, komodo on Rinca island and enjoy the night with thousands of bat on Kalong Island. Day 1
Mataram
Here you can rest for a while and by your favorite snacks before embarking in a sailing journey to the Komodo Island.
Go to Labuan Lombok...
You will be transported to Labuan Lombok where you will set sail and explore the beauty of Komodo Island.
Gili Bola
After arriving in Labuan Lombok, it is time to set sail to Gili Bola, an island recognized for its stunning beauty and hills filled with grassy plains.
Full Experience at First Day !
As the boat reaches the Gili Bola waters, you will have tons of exciting activities starting from fishing, swimming, snorkeling and ending the night with a dinner and sleeping on the boat's deck.
Day 2
Go to Gili Moyo Island...
As the sun greets you so will your breakfast and the journey continues to Gili Moyo Island. Here you will also embark on exciting activities.
Waterfall on Moyo Island

Satonda Island
After setting foot on Gili Moyo Island, you will continue your journey to Satonda Island. Here you will be taken to the island's interior to visit a lake. But this is no ordinary lake because the water is salty unlike other lakes which have fresh water. Not to mention the mythology surrounding the lake. It is said that those who can hang a rock at the trees surrounding the lake will have their wishes come true. But we won't say if ours came true or not. You would just have to prove this myth for yourself.
Snorkeling Time!
After you are enchanted by the beauty of the salt water lake, you will be taken to the beach to do some snorkeling. Here you will see the beauty and diversity of the coral reefs, famous among the snorkeling enthusiasts. Afterwards, it is time for lunch and continue with the journey.
Go to Gili Laba...
You will sail along a series of islets to Gili Laba Island which takes quite a long time. But it will be all worth it. Along the way you will have a stunning view of the mesmerizing island of Sumbawa and if you are lucky, spot a school of dolphins accompanying your journey to Gili Laba Island. You will be enchanted by playfulness of the dolphins.
Day 3
Beautiful Breakfast
You will arrive on Gili Laba Island in the morning and you will enjoy your breakfast at the backdrop of the stunning beauty the island has to offer.
Puncak Gili Laba
After enjoying your breakfast on deck, you will be guided to the highest point of Gili Laba Island. But you don't have to worry about the trek because the terrain is not to hard. Once on top you will be blown away with the view. Here you can spot a series of small islets which stretch all the way to the neighboring province of East Nusa Tenggara.
The Red Beach !
After you descend from the top of Gili Laba, we will sail straight through the Red Beach. On this famous beach you can swim and snorkel to enjoy captivating beauty of its coral reef. What makes this beach so famous is its red sands making this a unique and favorite snorkeling spot.
Komodo Island
After you snorkel at the Red Beach your lunch will be served and you journey will continue on to Komodo Island. Here you can encounter the iconic komodo dragon at Loh Liang and in the afternoon you will head straight to Kalong Island to spend the night and watch thousands of bats roaming the night.
Day 4
Kalong Island-Rinca Island
You will have breakfast on Kalong Island before your journey continues to Rinca Island.
Komodo at Rinca Island
Once you get to Rinca Island you will find more komodo dragons, even more than the ones on Komodo Island. Here you can capture the iconic creature, in a frame that is… not for real.
Kelor Island
After you have a bit of an adrenaline rush being surrounded by so many komodo dragons on Rinca Island, you will sail on to Kelor Island. The tiny island is a place where you can swim, snorkel or just enjoy the amazing view.
Go to Labuan Bajo
Lunch is served for you and the boat ride continues to our final destination Labuan Bajo.
Day 5
Labuan Bajo
Labuan Bajo is a picturesque tiny port town at the western tip of Flores Island is the gateway to the Komodo National Park and other wonders Flores Island has to offer. When the sun sets, Labuan Bajo offers a dramatic landscape turing the small islets over the horizon into silhouettes surrounded by the bright orange of the afternoon sky.
Bandar Udara Komodo
You will be flown from Komodo Airport in Labuan Bajo to Denpasar, Bali.
Back To Jakarta
Upon reaching Denpasar, you will get ready to head back to Jakarta or if you prefer to spend more time diving, you can head to the Komodo National Park and return to Denpasar in the afternoon.
Back To Reality!
Once you get back to your hometown, you will return to your day to day activity rejuvenated and ready to take on more challenges ahead.
