Wayanad stands on the southern tip of the Deccan plateau and includes part of the Western Ghats. Quite a large area of the district is covered by forest but the continued and indiscriminate exploitation of the natural resources point towards an imminent environmental crisis. It has a large amount of dry and moist deciduous forest. Wayanad is home to endangered species.

Day 1: Calicut - Wayanad

Arrival at Calicut Airport. Meet and Greet by the representative then transfer to the resort .Calicut has a very colorful past, Vasco Da Gama landed at Calicut(Kappad) in 1498,becoming the first European to reach India by the sea route around the southern cape of Africa. Over night at resort.

Day 2: Calicut - Wayanad (80Kms/2Hrs)

After breakfast drive to Vythiri, check into the resort. Relax for the afternoon & enjoy resort facilities. In the evening drive through panoramic western ghat hills covered with spice plantations and occasional view of water falls and streams. Verdant peaks, trekking frails, waterfalls and lakes make it a heaven for nature lovers...

Day 3: Wayanad

After break fast proceed to enjoy Pookod natural lake, Soochipara waterfalls, Muthanga wild life sanctuary, and for Edakal caves (This is a prehistoric shelter are made of natural rock formation). Throughout this journey you can enjoy different type of spice plantations like cardamom, vanilla, pepper, cinnamon, clove etc.

Day 4: Wayanad - Calicut

After breakfast check out from resort and proceed to Calicut. Way back to Home town. Tour End.
