Srinagar is one of several places that has been called the "Venice of the East" or the "Kashmiri Venice". It is known for its lakes, which include Dal Lake noted for its houseboats and Nagin Lake. Srinagar has some Mughal gardens, forming a part of those laid by the Mughal emperors across the Indian subcontinent. Those of Srinagar and its close vicinity include Chashma Shahi (the royal fountains); Pari Mahal (the palace of the fairies); Nishat Bagh (the garden of spring); Shalimar Bagh; and the Naseem Bagh.

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar, Houseboat Stay

On your arrival at the Srinagar International Airport, you will be taken for a 35 minutes drive through the heart of New Srinagar city, passing the Abdullah bridge which connects the banks of the Jhelum river. Arrive and check-in at the houseboat. Proceed for an hour of Shikara ride in the lake. Overnight stay at houseboat.

Day 2: In Srinagar: Half day city tour

After breakfast, we proceed for a half day city tour that includes visit to the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar. We will explore the gardens and later drive back to the hotel / houseboat for a dinner and Overnight stay at hotel/ houseboats.

Day 3: Pahalgam day trip

Today we travel 97 kiilometers (3 hrs one way) south of Kashmir to Pahalgam. In Pahalgam, visit Betaab Valley and Chandanwari as well as take a horse riding trip to Baisaran meadows. After sightseeing, we will drive back to Srinagar and transfer to the hotel/ houseboat for overnight stay. (local sightseeing on your own)

Day 4: Departure/transfers to Airport

After your breakfast, we will assist you with transfers to airport. On your way, you can make a brief stopover for shopping at the city center.

Exclusions

• Any Air/ train fare.
• Any pony charges.
• Any gondola cable car charges.
• Any expenses for optional activities.
• Aru and Chandan wari in Pahalgam.
• Items of personal nature like porterage, tips, laundry.
• Any expenses arising out of unforeseen circumstances like flight delay / cancellation / hike in fare, strike or any other natural calamities or any emergency evacuation expenses.
• Any additional meals.
• Anything not mentioned in Inclusions.

Cancellation Policy

• In the event of cancellation of tour / travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason/s we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:
  60 days prior to arrival: 10% of the Tour / service cost
  45 days prior to arrival: 20% of the Tour / service cost
  15 days prior to arrival: 25% of the Tour / service cost
  07 days prior to arrival: 50% of the Tour / service cost
• Less than 72 hours or No Show: No Refund In case of Special Trains Journeys and peak season hotel bookings a separate cancellation policy is applicable (which can be advised as and when required).
• Refund Policy:
  Refund against Partial Payment: You will get Credit (less applicable fees) for refund amount which will remain valid for 6 months from the date of refund approved.
  Refund against Full Payment: Approved refund amount (less applicable fees) will be credited to your bank account within 3-5 working days.
  Note: Processing fees: Rs. 650/- will be deducted in all such refund cases.
• Some cancellation and refund policies are out of our tender: Refund for hotel payment will follow the hotel’s cancellation policy Train tickets cancellations will follow the Railway’s policy Flight tickets cancellations will follow the airlines company policy In case you cancel the trip after commencement, refund would be restricted to a limited amount only which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/ contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation & missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
• Our Liabilities & Limitations: Please note that after the finalization of the Tour/ service Cost, if there are any Hike in entrance fees of monuments / museums, Taxes, fuel cost or guide charges – by Govt of India, the same would be charged as extra.
• Law & Jurisdiction: For all complaints, suits, claims or disputes of whatsoever nature relating to any products offered by Touristlink.com, will be under the exclusive jurisdiction of Court of Nagpur.
